Daivergent (https://www.daivergent.com/) believes the 90% unemployment rate among the disability population is unacceptable. We have developed the world's first curriculum to help these job-seekers find work-from-home and computer-based careers -- taught 100% online.

We are looking for early stage career candidates to join us as part time, on-call instructors. Required is a Bachelor's degree (Master's not required) and one (1) to three (3) years similar vocational experience with neurodivergent clients. We especially seek those who are disciplined, energetic, creative, and empathetic as you will be providing 1:1 remote-based instruction using our curriculum & lesson plans, from the comfort of your own home! We bring the students to you! While we prefer a Bachelor's degree in a human services profession, we also welcome applicants from diverse educational backgrounds, especially those with experience in technology or the arts. Hands-on vocational experience is highly valued, and any college is acceptable as long as you have documented employment working with people with neurodivergent clients. This is a 1099 (independent contractor) role and provides a wonderful opportunity for those with other employment or commitments who wish to earn supplemental income while assisting a neurodivergent population prepare for competitive employment. This will enable you to make an enormous positive impact within the disability community.

**We cannot guarantee when you would be assigned a student or subsequent students but the program is growing and we will be hiring a large number of Part time Instructors during 2023. **

Compensation: $18.00 per hour - hourly rate is fixed.

Currently, we are only accepting applications for candidates with availability in any of the time blocks below: Hours are fixed. We require a minimum of 4 days (Mon-Thurs) but Friday availability preferred.

Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement customized remote vocational services programs for neurodivergent individuals, focusing on skills development, employment opportunities, and social integration.
· Assess clients' abilities, interests, and goals to create tailored vocational plans that align with their unique needs.
· Provide ongoing support and coaching to clients, helping them develop remote work skills, such as time management, communication, and technology use.
· Teach social skills and strategies to enhance clients' interpersonal relationships and workplace interactions.
· Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and consistent progress.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress, goals, and achievements.
· Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve service delivery.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.

Requirements: (Please ensure you meet the experience/education requirements before applying!)
· Bachelor's degree only (Master's not required) ) in special education, psychology, liberal studies, technology, or the arts, with one (1) to three (3) years’ experience providing vocational services to neurodivergent adolescents (17-21) and adults (22+), with a focus on remote service delivery.
· Strong computer proficiency, access to computer, web camera, and reliable high-speed internet.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience leveraging technology to enhance, engage and support service delivery.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
· A genuine passion for empowering individuals with neurodivergent clients and promoting their independence.
· Flexibility and adaptability to work with clients with diverse needs and backgrounds.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
· Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to disability services and remote work.
· At least 21 years old
· Legally authorized to work in the US, and physically located in the US
